Turn what you watch into where you go.

Stoury is a guide to the places where your favourite films and shows were shot. Pick a theme, see the real streets and rooms on screen, and take the trip.

What Stoury does

You finished the movie and wondered where that diner was. Stoury answers that. We map where films and TV were shot in New York, then group the places into trips you can follow: a few stops, in an order that makes sense on foot or by subway.

Where it starts

We open on 30 October 2026 with New York and two trips: Romance in New York and Holiday in New York. More themes are on the way and show as Coming soon until they are ready. Other cities come after New York.

How we know where things were filmed

Our locations come from public sources, including New York City's open film permit data and Wikidata, and from research by our own team. Each place carries a confidence level, and we only show the ones we are reasonably sure of. Film and show details come from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

How booking works

When a stop can be booked, Stoury sends you to the company that takes the booking: OpenTable, Resy, GetYourGuide, Viator or the venue itself. We do not take payment and we do not hold your booking. Many stops are free: a walk-in, or a building you enjoy from the sidewalk.

Who is behind it

Stoury is built by Secret Weapon Studios, a production company with offices in New York and Los Angeles that has been making film and television since 2022. It started as a simple idea from people who spend their days on film sets: the places on screen are real, and people want to go to them.
